Apple’s first foldable phone, iPhone Duo, has been officially unveiled. Apple relies on nanotexture to reduce its presence
In order to reduce the presence of creases, Apple added a special polymer anti-scratch coating and nano-texture layer to the inner screen, as well as a multi-layer special adhesive that can bend with the screen and slide like a book page to reduce the pressure on the screen when it is bent.
Among them, nano-textured surfaces also play a key role. Compared with traditional mirror screens, the matte texture can reduce light reflection, making the creases less likely to be magnified by light during daily use, making them less conspicuous. In terms of durability, Apple said that iPhone Duo uses grade 5 titanium frames and bearing caps to make the resistance when folding smoother and more balanced. It also supports IP68 dustproof and waterproof, further strengthening the body structure and daily protection.
It is worth noting that Apple’s statement about “crease” is actually quite conservative. The official press release did not use the words “zero creases”, but emphasized the reduction of the presence of creases through the nano-texture surface.

The visibility of creases is affected by the viewing angle
