At the same time, Apple also updated its AirPods true wireless headphone product line, launching the full line of AirPods 5 that supports ANC active noise reduction, and the price has been reduced to $1,099, which is cheaper than the previous generation.

When this article was published, AirPods 5 was confirmed to be on sale in Hong Kong. The standard version is priced at $1,099 and the wireless charging box version is priced at $1,249. Pre-sale is now open and will be officially launched on September 18 (next Friday).

The main line of AirPods 5 is equipped with ANC noise reduction. In addition to supporting wireless charging, the wireless charging box version also has a force sensor on the earphone frame that can be operated with a swipe. At the same time, the playback time on a single charge has also been increased from 4 hours to 5 hours.

AirPods 5 is equipped with H2 chip and high dynamic range amplifier. The built-in ANC is 1.5 times more efficient than the previous generation AirPods 4 earphones. The water resistance of the frame has been upgraded from IP54 to IP57, further enhancing the durability.

Mobile Magazine’s short review: Although the price is more affordable, the overall performance of AirPods 5 has been improved compared to the previous generation, including enhanced ANC efficiency, water resistance performance and force-sensing operation of the earphones, making the performance-price ratio better.
