Google’s new generation Pixel 11 series has been launched in Taiwan since August. Less than a month after it went on sale, channel prices have significantly loosened, and the drop has not been low. It has been certified as the latest “diving king” by Taiwan-wide chain Jiesheng Communications.
Pixel 11 series dominates price reduction list
Jiesheng released the “TOP 15 price reduction list” based on the prices of mobile phones in Taiwan’s stores in August. As a result, the Pixel 11 series directly washed away the list, taking the 1st to 11th place in one go. Even the previous generation Pixel 10 Pro Fold also squeezed into the list.
Among them, Pixel 11 Pro Fold even ranked first and second in terms of price reduction in a single month. The two capacity versions, 16GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB, have been reduced by 8,000 yuan in less than a month since they were launched. Taking 16GB + 256GB as an example, the original price was 60,990 yuan, but now the street price has dropped to 52,990 yuan. The diving speed of folding flagships is quite alarming.

Other models in the Pixel 11 series also generally have price differences of around 5,000 yuan. For example, the Pixel 11 12GB + 256GB, originally priced at 29,990 yuan, can now be purchased for 24,990 yuan; the latest prices of the 12GB + 256GB versions of Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL have reached 31,990 yuan and 36,990 yuan respectively.
Jiesheng analyzed that it is increasingly common for Android flagships to experience a drop of about 10% in the first month after they are launched. This is mainly because brands will first increase the official selling price to reserve space for telecom subsidies and channel promotions, and then reduce prices after the launch to gradually return to a price range that is more acceptable to consumers.
If the iPhone 17 doesn’t drop, it will be in vain if you wait and wait.
As for the Apple iPhone 17 series, no model has made it into the price reduction list. Some models have even experienced price increases and are out of stock. If you want to wait for the launch conference to get a bargain, it seems to be impossible now.
