According to a report by foreign media Android Authority, user Joe Lenington shared a screenshot on the X platform, showing that the Quick Share interface for transferring files to Apple devices has appeared on the Pixel Tablet. Although Google’s official Quick Share with iPhone FAQ page has not been officially updated to list the Pixel Tablet, the small text at the bottom of the page has stated that it supports mobile devices and tablets, reflecting that the cross-system file transfer function is accelerating its expansion to large-screen devices.
Currently, the Quick Share direct transfer to iPhone function covers Pixel 8a or newer mobile phones, folded phones starting from the Samsung Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy Z Fold 6, as well as some selected models of OPPO, HONOR, vivo and OnePlus. This Pixel Tablet update not only marks the first addition of a tablet product, but also means that older hardware can also receive relevant upgrades.
