HTC launches VIVE Eagle round frame model, with powerful functions such as AI real-time translation and 3K video recording, priced at 15,600 yuan.
Taiwanese mobile phone and virtual reality brand HTC launched the VIVE Eagle round-frame model of AI smart glasses yesterday (3rd). It has been fully upgraded from image shooting, AI interaction to cross-language communication, and released a major software update to further expand the application of smart glasses in life, travel, work and content creation. The VIVE Eagle round-frame model is on sale from now on, priced at 15,600 yuan. It can be purchased with a 5G plan designated by Chunghwa Telecom and Taiwan Mobile for as low as 0 yuan.
The round-frame version of VIVE Eagle smart glasses continues its lightweight design and is available in three colors: carbon black, brown and blue. It can be paired with clear, sunglasses and color-changing ZEISS lenses. Image shooting has also been optimized. The video resolution has been increased from 2K to 3K, and slow-motion recording and Live Streaming have been added. Content can be shared directly from the first-person perspective, and platforms such as YouTube and Twitch are supported.

AI functions are also the focus of the update. VIVE Eagle has added a real-time translation mode, providing two ways of listening and talking. VIVE AI Notes has been expanded to support 96 languages. It combines recording, verbatim transcripts, speaker recognition and AI summarization to facilitate usage scenarios such as meetings, study and daily records. It also adds functions of nodding to answer and shaking to reject incoming calls, making the operation more intuitive and convenient.
HTC also emphasizes the open AI architecture, which can use Google Gemini or OpenAI GPT as needed, and enhances privacy with mechanisms such as data encryption, shooting prompts, and wear detection. VIVE Eagle has a built-in 235mAh battery that supports fast charging and can reach 50% power in 10 minutes. It also introduces an 8-gram magnetic power bank that can be directly attached to the frame to replenish power, improving battery life flexibility for going out, traveling and long-term use.
The round-frame VIVE Eagle has more than 36 hours of use and can be charged from 1% to 50% in 10 minutes via a magnetic power bank (right in the picture), which is fast and convenient. Pictured is the blue version.
