HUAWEI announced the launch of two new mid-range models, nova 16s Pro and nova 16s, focusing on overseas markets. The new phone continues the series’ consistent stylish appearance, and brings flagship specifications such as a 200-megapixel outsole main lens, a 7,000mAh giant battery, and 100W super fast charging!
In terms of appearance and screen, HUAWEI nova 16s Pro uses a 6.84-inch LTPO AMOLED screen, supports a 1-120Hz dynamic update rate, a peak brightness of up to 6,000 nits, and has 2,160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. The front of the fuselage is covered with Kunlun glass with excellent drop resistance, and the middle frame is made of aerospace-grade aluminum alloy with a thickness of only 7.1mm and a weight of 218g. The design is infused with summer wave texture, and available in four eye-catching colors: Clear Sky Blue, Symphony Fritillaria, Sky White and Starry Sky Black. The nova 16s in the same market is equipped with a smaller 6.68-inch screen with a thickness of 7.3mm.
In terms of core hardware and functions, the Pro version is equipped with Kirin 9010S processor, built-in 7,000mAh battery and supports 100W HUAWEI SuperCharge Turbo fast charging. Photography is the biggest highlight, equipped with a 200-megapixel RYYB primary lens (supports OIS), a 50MP RYYB 3.7x periscope telephoto and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, as well as a multi-spectral sensor and a red maple primary color engine.
The standard version of nova 16s also has a 7,000mAh battery and 100W fast charging, and is equipped with Kirin 8020 chip. Both run the EMUI 16.0 system and have built-in practical smart functions such as AI composition, AI removal, and AI expression optimization.
In terms of sales information and pricing, the official has not announced the exact pricing and detailed launch time of the two new machines. They are expected to be launched in various overseas markets in the short term.
