Samsung mobile phone prices have been confirmed to increase. Starting from September 1, Samsung has officially adjusted the prices of various models of the Galaxy A series in Taiwan, including Galaxy A57, A37, A27, A17 and A07. The price increases range from 500 yuan to 2,000 yuan depending on the model and capacity. The recommended selling price of the popular model Galaxy A57 has been adjusted from the original starting price of 17,990 yuan to 18,990 yuan, an increase of 1,000 yuan.
This price adjustment of the Galaxy A series covers the entry-to-mid-range market, with the Galaxy A07 increasing by 1,000 yuan and the Galaxy A17 increasing by 2,000 yuan. The two entry-level phones have the most obvious increases; the Galaxy A27 has slightly increased by 500 yuan. The mid-range Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 mainly increased by NT$1,000, while the 512GB large-capacity version of the Galaxy A57 increased by NT$1,500.
Samsung’s recent price changes are not limited to the Galaxy A series. The market has also previously reported that the Galaxy S series may adjust its price. However, as of now, Samsung has not announced the exact schedule and extent of price adjustments for the S series.
