POCO recently officially announced the launch of its new flagship smartphones POCO F9 Pro and F9 Ultra. Both new models focus on top performance and long battery life. The Ultra version is equipped with a top-notch processor, a giant 6.9-inch screen and a shocking 8,050mAh battery capacity. Its specifications have attracted market attention, bringing users a comprehensively upgraded flagship experience.
In terms of screen configuration, POCO F9 Pro and F9 Ultra also use high-level AMOLED screen panels, supporting an ultra-high refresh rate of up to 185Hz and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, ensuring that they are still clear and smooth under strong outdoor light. There are slight differences in size. The F9 Pro uses a lighter 6.6-inch screen, while the F9 Ultra is equipped with a larger 6.9-inch screen with a wider field of view. Both have excellent visual immersion and smooth touch feel, and are IP68 dustproof and waterproof certified.
In terms of core hardware and functions, POCO F9 Ultra is equipped with a complete Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 flagship chip, supporting up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage space; F9 Pro uses a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V series chip with slightly adjusted performance.
In terms of camera combination, both have built-in 200MP main lenses, but the Ultra model is further upgraded with a 50MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, while the Pro is equipped with a 2.5x telephoto and 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
In terms of battery life, the F9 Ultra has a built-in 8,050mAh Si-C battery, while the F9 Pro is equipped with a 6,330mAh battery. Both support 100W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging and 22.5W reverse wireless charging, and run the Xiaomi HyperOS 3 system based on Android 16.
