There are many opinions about the configuration of iPhone Ultra. Recently, a foreign media interviewed Mark Gurman of Bloomberg and asked about his expectations for this first foldable screen. The latter said that he still expected the device to support built-in MagSafe magnetic wireless charging.
Relative to the fact that iPhone Ultra is the brand’s flagship foldable screen product, Gurman said that Apple takes durability as the primary goal when designing it, reaching the level of durability of iPhone 17 Pro Max / iPhone Air.
At the same time, iPhone Ultra is pre-loaded with iOS 27 system, and has been fully planned to allow developers to adapt to the folding screen screen. The app support is quite complete and can make full use of the new proportions of the internal and external screen screens.
Compared with the iPhone Ultra, there may be some trade-offs in specifications, including only dual lenses like the Z Fold8 without a telephoto lens, and it may not be equipped with Face ID and use the common Touch ID fingerprint key set on the folding screen.
Mobile Magazine’s short review: In terms of price, Gurman believes that the price of the iPhone Ultra will be between US$2,000 and US$2,050, or approximately HK$15,680, and the supply may be earlier than expected.
