HUAWEI will release the new smartwatch HUAWEI WATCH D3 on September 2. On the eve of the release, foreign media WinFuture took the lead in leaking official renderings and core specifications. The new generation WATCH D3 uses an aluminum alloy and polycarbonate back, narrows the body thickness to 11.4mm, and replaces it with a larger 1.92-inch LTPO AMOLED screen. The new phone continues to focus on professional health tracking, and has been further upgraded to support 24-hour dynamic blood pressure monitoring and body surface temperature measurement. The device also has a built-in 540mAh battery and has been upgraded to Bluetooth 6.0. It is expected to be priced at 449.99 euros.
HUAWEI will officially launch a new generation of smart watch HUAWEI WATCH D3 this week that focuses on health monitoring. In the official rendering first published by foreign media WinFuture, the design details and core specifications of this wearable device have been fully exposed, showing a wider display and slimmer body lines than the previous generation.
According to the latest news, HUAWEI WATCH D3 will be available in three color options: amber brown, white and black. The biggest change in the design is the overall thickness. The manufacturer used aluminum alloy and polycarbonate to build the back of the phone, successfully narrowing the body from 13.3mm of the WATCH D2 to 11.4mm, making it feel more comfortable and lighter when worn. At the same time, the screen size of the watch has also been upgraded, from the previous generation’s 1.82-inch to a 1.92-inch LTPO AMOLED display, while the resolution remains at 480 x 408 pixels, ensuring that the display of various health data remains clear.
In terms of hardware configuration and functions, the new watch has built-in 64GB RAM and 64MB storage space, and retains the series’ iconic professional health tracking technology. In addition to basic heart rate, sleep, step counting and blood oxygen saturation detection, the device’s blood pressure measurement function has been further enhanced to fully support 24-hour dynamic blood pressure monitoring, and can automatically generate trend analysis reports. It also adds a body surface temperature measurement function to comprehensively take care of users’ health needs.
In order to cope with the upgraded hardware operation, HUAWEI increased the battery capacity from 524mAh to 540mAh, which can maintain a battery life of about six days under normal usage. In terms of connectivity and protection specifications, the watch has been upgraded to support Bluetooth 6.0 technology, and is IP68 dustproof and waterproof and has independent GPS positioning capabilities.
