The Mate XT 2 body will also directly incorporate health monitoring functions, allowing users to measure body data anytime and anywhere without wearing a smart bracelet or watch.
In terms of health monitoring, Mate XT 2 is expected to adopt the technical solution previously unveiled on Pura 90 Pro. This function mainly relies on the cooperation of a rear flashlight and a special sensor, and uses the principle of photoplethysmography (PPG) to detect blood flow changes in microvessels. Users only need to place their fingers on the flash area, and the system can output resting heart rate data in more than ten seconds, and automatically synchronize to the “Sports Health” App for recording, which greatly improves the convenience of daily heart rate measurement.
The body structure and appearance design also have many attractions. Mate XT 2 adopts a new U-shaped folding scheme. The body folds first on the left side and then on the right side. When the phone is completely folded, the main screen will be completely wrapped inside the body, and the protection performance is greatly improved compared to the previous generation. At the same time, the outside of the fuselage is equipped with an independent external screen.
