Samsung has officially launched its new foldable phones Z Fold8 Ultra, Z Fold8, and Z Flip8. Pre-orders will be opened in Taiwan on July 30 and will be launched on August 14.
In terms of price, the top-end Z Fold8 Ultra starts at 65,900 yuan, the new wide folding Z Fold8 starts at 59,900 yuan, and the small folding Z Flip8 starts at 38,900 yuan.
The Z Fold8 is newly launched this year, and there is no price comparison with the previous generation. However, due to the soaring cost of components such as memory, the prices of the Z Fold8 Ultra and Z Flip8 have increased significantly compared with the previous generation. The 256GB version is 3,000 yuan more expensive than the previous generation, and the 512GB version is 5,000 yuan more expensive. In addition, the Z Fold8 The 16GB+1TB top-spec version of Ultra has increased by 8,000 yuan, and the price has also exceeded the 80,000 yuan mark, reaching 83,900 yuan.

Pre-order discount capacity upgrade
Pre-orders are open from July 30 to August 13. The 256GB version of the three new models can be pre-ordered through designated channels in Taiwan, and can be upgraded to the 512GB version for free; the Z Fold8 Ultra 512GB version can be upgraded to 1TB with designated plans. Pre-order through Samsung Smart Store and Samsung Mall, and you can be the first to pick up the goods starting from August 11.
