At the end of last month, REDMAGIC released the Red Magic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro flagship thin-screen tablet in China. After its launch, the official online store was out of stock for a long time due to tight supply. However, the good news is that the international version of the Astra 2 Gaming Tablet has been officially released on the brand’s official website, priced from US$699 (approximately HK$5,480).
The Astra 2 Gaming Tablet will be available in black and silver. The official website information confirms that it has 12+256 and 16+512 storage configurations. The price starts at US$699 and early bird discount details will be announced on August 10.
As the international version of the Red Devils Gaming Tablet 5 Pro, the Astra 2 Gaming Tablet basically follows the configuration of the former, including AquaCore 2.0 water cooling, dual Type-C ports and a built-in 8,200mAh battery.
The screen part uses a 9.06-inch 185Hz refresh rate 2,400 x 1,504 pixel OLED, corresponding to a peak brightness of 1,600nits, an instantaneous touch sampling rate of up to 2,000Hz, SGS blue light eye protection, etc.
In terms of hardware, the Astra 2 Gaming Tablet is equipped with a 4.6GHz clock S8E Gen5 with its own R4 chip, pre-loaded REDMAGIC OS 11.5 system, and DTS:X Ultra dual speakers.
