After OPPO launched the K15 Pro series in the Chinese market in April, it has recently begun to warm up the standard version of the K15. Currently, this new phone has been officially launched on OPPO’s official domestic online store, and it is confirmed that it will be officially released on July 24. The official also announced the appearance design, core specifications and body color options of the new phone.
In terms of core specifications, OPPO K15 will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Super processor and a built-in average cooling thermal plate (VC heat dissipation) with an area of 4,950 square millimeters. Like the K15 Pro series launched earlier, the standard version also retains the iconic built-in active cooling fan design, which can provide more stable temperature control for mobile phones and is suitable for users who run high-load applications for a long time.
The screen and battery life are the main selling points of this phone. OPPO K15 will use a 6.59-inch AMOLED display. The fuselage is equipped with a large-capacity battery of up to 8,000mAh and supports 80W wired fast charging technology, which can meet the long-term battery life needs of high-volume users.
As for the photography system, the back of the camera adopts a dual-lens module design, including a 50-megapixel main lens that supports OIS optical anti-shake, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. An RGB ring light effect is added to the periphery of the camera module to increase appearance recognition. The front lens also has a 50-megapixel resolution to meet the needs of selfies and video calls. In terms of body protection capabilities, officials have confirmed that the phone has IP69 dust-proof and waterproof certification, providing a higher standard of daily protection.
OPPO K15 is currently available for pre-order at the official online store in mainland China. The new machine will provide a single configuration version with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage space, and will be available in two body colors: Storm Gray and Swift White. The actual selling price and launch details of the new phone are yet to be officially announced at the press conference on July 24.
