The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, which is expected to appear at the Galaxy Unpacked conference on July 22, is regularly discounted. Recently, a suspected trial video of the actual device has been circulated on the Internet, in which the display device has excellent main screen crease reduction performance.
Digital blogger “Focus Digital” recently showed off a suspected trial video of the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra on its Weibo account. The main screen was shot from multiple angles when it is idle and in use, showing its outstanding crease reduction capabilities.
In the video, it can be seen that no matter whether the phone is posed vertically or horizontally at multiple angles, its creases are almost “non-existent”. The screen is as flat as a mirror without any creases, or the previous model has a slight dent in the hinge position.
However, Ice Universe later suspected that the video was not from Z Fold8 Ultra, but might be a demonstration video of Z Fold7 last year. The source also believed that the former had indeed made progress in folding screen reduction.
As for the focus on the wide folding screen, the whistleblower tweeted on the X account (@UniverseIce) that Galaxy Z Fold8 has the same level of outstanding performance as Z Fold8 Ultra in terms of controlling the crease phenomenon.
Mobile Magazine’s short comment: If the news is true, it can be inferred that the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Z Fold8 mobile phones will have at least the current OPPO Find N6 folding screen experience, and the crease phenomenon will be significantly reduced.
