Apple emphasizes that this feature is designed with privacy first and will not collect or analyze personal data. It is currently only available in the United States.
The search interface has also added a Trending Restaurants section, which can directly display the most popular restaurants in the area, making it easier for users to quickly find dining options when going out. This is initially limited to the US market.
In addition, the Visited Places function of Apple Maps has also been simultaneously optimized to improve the accuracy of location recognition and reduce the risk of missing records. The system will automatically organize the places visited according to place type and location. Users can view the complete record through the “Places” menu in their personal profile.
In addition to functional updates, Apple has also adjusted the Map App icon according to the Liquid Glass design language of iOS 27, adding more glass layers and three-dimensional effects to make the overall visual style more consistent.
