According to a recent report by Korean media ZDNET, Samsung has not released a wide folding screen for the Galaxy Z Fold8. It will use a new design of UTG ultra-thin glass and increase the thickness to improve the crease phenomenon on the main screen of the device.
According to the article, Z Fold8 Ultra is equipped with UTG glass with a thickness of 45μm, while the Z Fold8 wide folding screen will reach 60μm, which is more than 30% thicker than the former, which will bring about a clearer improvement in creases and improved impact resistance of the main screen.
In addition, the tipster @UniverseIce recently showed off the suspected external screen sub-factory stickers of Z Flip8, Z Fold8 and Z Fold8 Ultra on the X account, allowing users to more intuitively distinguish the size differences of the three machines.
