Rumors of adding a touch screen feature to the MacBook have been circulating for years, but the rumors appear to be coming to fruition in the coming days. The latest news reveals that Apple may have launched a touch-screen laptop product, which may be named MacBook Ultra.
According to digital blogger “Sensana Digital”, Apple seems to have confirmed that it will add touch screen functionality to future versions of MacBook. Some foreign media speculate that it may be a newly named MacBook Ultra series.
As a reference, the macOS 27 Golden Gate system announced at WWDC26 not only adds touch input to the Sidecar function using the iPad as the secondary screen for the first time, but also adds touch functions to tools such as Safari.
