Apple WWDC 2026 will be launched in the early morning of today (9th), bringing a new generation of operating systems to Apple devices, including iOS 27, etc., while focusing on the debut of a new generation of Apple Intelligence and a new “Siri AI”. ● Password security upgrade: Automatically correct weak passwords and leaked password risks to improve account security.
● Safari Smart Browsing Tool: Automatically organize pagination, track product replenishment and price changes, and generate Safari extension functions.
● Message, email and itinerary management is more intelligent: suggestions can be provided based on the content and itineraries can be created through natural language.
● AI creates shortcut automation: As long as the requirements are described, the shortcut process can be automatically established.
● Image Paradise allows for partial image retouching: it supports realistic AI generation, and the image content can be modified by circling or smearing.
● Home App is smarter: Provides AI video summary and smart search functions.
● The new Siri AI is here: equipped with personal situation understanding, screen awareness, real-time search and cross-App operation capabilities.
Apple stated that some Apple Intelligence functions, such as image generation, rely on high-performance server models to operate and therefore have daily usage limits. Most iCloud+ subscription plans offer higher usage limits and include support for Apple Intelligence features for “home” cameras.
Big revamped new Siri AI is even smarter
Siri AI is driven by the new generation of Apple Intelligence. It is no longer just a traditional voice assistant, but has transformed into an AI chatbot, fully integrated into Apple ecosystem devices.

● More natural AI dialogue: supports continuous dialogue and questioning, and the interaction is closer to real person chatting.
● Understand personal situations: Find the information you need from messages, emails, photos, etc.
● Ability to understand screen content: Able to understand the current screen content and provide relevant assistance.
● Support cross-App operation: tasks and instructions can be completed across different Apps.
● Instant Internet search: Get the latest information directly from the Internet and provide answers.
● Entering the dynamic island for the first time: Siri AI can be quickly launched from the dynamic island, and iPad and Mac are integrated into Spotlight.
● Launched exclusive Siri App: Added a new independent App to centrally manage historical conversation records.
● Chat continuation across devices: Supports chat continuation across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Vision Pro.
● Big upgrade of visual intelligence: Combining camera and visual intelligence, you can directly ask questions about the things in front of you.
● AI writing tool integration: supports writing, rewriting and polishing text content.
Siri AI is only available on devices that support Apple Intelligence, such as iPhone 15 Pro and above. In addition, the Siri AI Beta version will be launched later this year, first available to users whose device language is set to English, and will be expanded to more languages in the future.
Six major system updates iOS 27 open for all upgrades
Apple simultaneously updates six major operating systems, including iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, visionOS 27 and tvOS 27. In addition to focusing on Apple Intelligence and Siri AI, the new system also focuses on performance optimization to make operations smoother and faster, while further strengthening the security mechanism for children’s accounts. In addition, the Liquid Glass interface effect also provides a higher degree of freedom of adjustment.

In terms of supported models, iOS 27 does not eliminate any old iPhone, and all models that can be upgraded to iOS 26 can continue to be updated. However, the support list of watchOS 27 has been significantly reduced, many old Apple Watch models have been eliminated, and even Apple Watch Series 9 has officially withdrawn from support. On the other hand, macOS 27 also officially terminates Intel Mac support, symbolizing Apple’s comprehensive move into the Apple Silicon era.
