Apple’s WWDC 2026 Developers Conference debuted in the early morning of today (9th), launching a new generation operating system for Apple’s devices. The highlight also included the debut of more powerful Apple Intelligence and the new “Siri AI”. “Siri AI” is no longer just a traditional voice assistant, but has become an AI chat robot fully integrated into Apple ecosystem devices.
Siri AI is powered by the new generation of Apple Intelligence and is therefore only available on devices that support Apple Intelligence. The Siri AI Beta version will be launched later this year, and will first be available to users whose device language is set to English. More languages will be expanded in the future.
● More natural AI dialogue
Siri AI supports continuous dialogue and questioning, without having to give commands again every time. For example, after asking “How is the weather in Taipei this weekend?” and then asking “What about Sunday?” Siri can also understand that the same topic is being continued.

Siri AI has the ability to understand personal situations and find relevant information from personal content such as messages, emails, photos, etc. For example, directly ask “Which yakiniku restaurant was the last time my friend recommended me?” Siri can help search from the conversation history.
● Can understand the content on the screen
Siri AI understands what is displayed on the screen. For example, when receiving a message from a friend for a dinner party and mentioning that each person wants to bring a dish, the user can directly ask “What should I bring?” Siri will provide suggestions based on the content.
● Support cross-App operation
Tasks can be completed across different apps. For example, after seeing the restaurant information in the message, you can directly ask Siri to “help me add to my calendar and create a reminder” without having to manually switch between multiple apps.
● Instant Internet search
Siri AI can obtain the latest information directly from the Internet. For example, asking “When will Jay Chou’s Taipei concert go on sale?” the answer can be provided immediately.

● Entered the dynamic island for the first time
In addition to waking up via voice, iPhone users can also directly activate Siri AI by swiping down from the dynamic island. On iPad and Mac, Siri AI is integrated into Spotlight.
● Launch exclusive Siri App
Added an independent Siri App to centrally manage all historical conversation records. For example, after asking about travel itinerary planning last week, you can directly return to the Siri App to view previous content.
● Continue chats across devices
The same conversation can be continued on different Apple devices. For example, you can plan a trip to Japan on your Mac, and then use your iPhone to continue asking for information about attractions after you go out, without having to start over.

● Big upgrade of visual intelligence
Siri AI and visual intelligence are integrated into the camera app. For example, you can ask questions directly by pointing at the object in front of you through the camera lens. In addition, visual intelligence also extends to iPad, Mac and Apple Vision Pro.
● AI writing tool integration
Siri AI provides a more powerful integrated “writing tool” than ever before, allowing users to write with Siri AI almost anywhere.
