Recently, the entry-level mobile phone market has once again welcomed new products with long battery life. HONOR has launched a new affordable 4G mobile phone, HONOR X7e, in some overseas markets. The biggest selling point of this new phone is its built-in 7500mAh extra-large capacity battery, which is mainly designed to provide users with a long-lasting battery life. The overseas pricing is only about HK$1,500, making the price quite competitive.
In the screen display and imaging section, HONOR X7e is equipped with a 6.6-inch LCD display on the front, supporting HD+ resolution and a maximum 120Hz refresh rate, providing users with a smooth visual experience when scrolling web pages or watching videos. As for the camera module on the back of the phone, the phone uses a combination of a 50-megapixel main lens and an auxiliary lens, and a 5-megapixel lens on the front, which is enough to meet daily video calls and basic shooting needs.
HONOR X7e is equipped with MTK Helio G81 Ultra chip and comes preloaded with MagicOS 10.0 operating system based on Android 16. As mentioned above, the core focus of this phone is the large 7500mAh battery, which also supports 45W wired fast charging technology, which can shorten the time of replenishing power. It should be noted that in response to different market strategies, the versions sold in some regions will be adjusted to be equipped with 7000mAh batteries.
In terms of other practical functional configurations, the HONOR X7e has an IP64-level dustproof and water-resistant certification, a side-body fingerprint reader, and retains the increasingly rare 3.5mm headphone jack. In addition, the fuselage is also equipped with an exclusive one-click AI shortcut key to facilitate users to quickly wake up smart functions. In terms of connection and transmission, the phone supports Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, dual-SIM 4G network connection, GPS positioning, and USB 2.0 Type-C interface.
In terms of launch information, HONOR X7e has now been officially launched in the Malaysian market, offering a single version of 6GB RAM and 256GB storage space. The price is MYR 899, which is equivalent to approximately HKD 1,560. There are two body colors for buyers to choose from: Midnight Black and Sunset Orange. It is unknown whether this practical model with long battery life will be introduced into the Hong Kong market later.
