Today (June 1), HUAWEI officially launched the nova 16 mobile phone in China. The series includes nova 16, 16 Pro, top-end nova 16 Ultra and entry-level nova 16z, covering the mid-range to sub-flagship product market.
According to information released by HUAWEI, the entire nova 16 series will be officially launched on June 5, with clear sky blue, sky white, starry sky black and colorful mother-of-pearl colors to choose from.
The top-of-the-line nova 16 Ultra photography is composed of a full RYYB array 200MP OIS main lens, 50MP wide-angle macro and 50MP OIS periscope telephoto. The back main lens and 50MP front lens are both equipped with red maple primary color lenses.
In terms of other specifications, the nova 16 Ultra has a Kirin 9010S chip, a 6.84-inch FHD+ OLED screen, a built-in 7,000mAh battery, and supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

HUAWEI nova 16 Pro has the same 200MP RYYB triple lens as the Ultra version. The front and rear lenses are equipped with red maple primary color lenses. The hardware configuration is roughly the same as the Ultra version, but it does not support wireless charging.

The standard version of nova 16 photography consists of a 50MP main lens and a 50MP OIS RYYB periscope telephoto and red maple primary color lens. It is equipped with a Kirin 9010S chip, a 6.68-inch FHD+ OLED and a 7,000mAh battery.

The entry-level nova 16z has a 50MP main lens, a 12MP RYYB OIS portrait lens and a red maple primary color lens. It is equipped with a Kirin 8020 chip, a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED and a 6,000mAh battery.

Mobile Magazine’s short comment: If nothing unexpected happens, the nova 16 series will launch an international version at a later date, and everyone including the Hong Kong market will have the opportunity to buy it, but the HarmonyOS 6.1 system may not be pre-installed.
