Following the earlier launch of HONOR Win and Win RT with built-in cooling fans and 10000mAh batteries, HONOR has recently officially released the new HONOR Win Turbo in the domestic market. Different from the previous two models, which focus on extreme performance, the new Win Turbo eliminates the active cooling fan and uses a processor with better power consumption control, clearly positioning the product towards a long-lasting battery life experience.
In terms of hardware specifications, HONOR Win Turbo is equipped with MTK Dimensity 8500 processor. Compared with the processors used in Win RT and the standard version, this chip consumes less power and can further enhance the battery life of the phone. For the screen, the machine uses a 6.79-inch OLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. There are three configurations of memory and storage space for users to choose from, namely 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM, 12GB RAM + 512GB ROM, and the top configuration of 16GB RAM + 512GB ROM. The camera system takes a practical route, with a 50-megapixel main lens and a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens on the back, and a 16-megapixel selfie lens on the front.
Power management is a core selling point of this phone. HONOR Win Turbo has a built-in battery with a capacity of up to 10000mAh. In order to cater to the internal design of the fuselage, this model does not support wireless charging. In terms of wired fast charging, it provides a maximum power output of 80W, which is different from the 100W specifications of the other two models in the same series. According to official data, using an 80W SuperCharge charger, it takes about 90 minutes to charge a mobile phone from zero battery to fully charged. With such a large battery capacity, the charging efficiency still meets the actual needs of today’s use.
In addition to large power, comprehensive protective performance is also another highlight of HONOR Win Turbo. As a mobile phone with a conventional mainstream design and not heavy appearance, it has three waterproof and dustproof certifications: IP68, IP69 and IP69K. This means that the fuselage can not only withstand general water immersion, but also withstand the direct impact of high temperature and high-pressure water columns, providing users with extremely high durability. The new phone is available in three body colors: black, white and blue. In terms of pricing, the 12GB with 256GB version is priced at RMB 2,699, the 12GB with 512GB version is priced at RMB 2,999, and the 16GB with 512GB version is priced at RMB 3,599.
