Huawei officially announced that the new HUAWEI nova 16 series will hold a press conference in the domestic market on June 1. The MatePad Pro Max tablet computer, which was first launched overseas, will also be launched at the same event. At present, the official has launched the reservation activity for the new phone and confirmed that the entire series will cover four models, namely the standard version nova 16, nova 16 Pro, nova 16z and the top-of-the-line nova 16 Ultra.
In terms of body design, the camera modules of each model show obvious differences. Both nova 16 Pro and nova 16 Ultra are equipped with a three-lens system on the back. The sensor and LED flash are integrated into two large circular components and placed on a rectangular camera island module. The official trailer has also revealed that the nova 16 Pro will be available in sky blue and phantom colors. As for the standard version of nova 16, it uses a dual-lens configuration, and the overall design language is similar to the Pro and Ultra models. The back design of the other nova 16z is different, using a pill-shaped camera module with built-in dual lenses and dual LED flash.
The layout of the front lens also reflects the difference in product positioning. The front of nova 16 Pro and nova 16 Ultra adopts a pill-shaped screen opening design to accommodate a dual selfie lens combination; while the standard versions of nova 16 and nova 16z maintain a single-lens circular opening layout.
Although the official has not fully disclosed all hardware parameters, the technical specifications of the top models have leaked on the market. It is reported that HUAWEI nova 16 Ultra will use a 6.84-inch LTPO screen, the core hardware is equipped with Kirin 9 series processor, and has a built-in large battery with a capacity of up to 7,000mAh. In terms of image specifications, news indicates that the machine will be equipped with a 50-megapixel main lens and a 1/1.3-inch outsole sensor. It is expected to be combined with RYYB sensor technology to further improve the amount of light and image clarity for night photography. Officials are expected to announce more specific listing details on the eve of the launch.
