According to the value-added ranking of second-hand mobile phone recycling in stores in April 2026 released by the chain channel Jiesheng Communications, a total of 2 old ASUS ROG Phones have made it onto the list. The monthly recycling price of ROG Phone 8 Pro Edition (24GB/1TB) surged by 2,710 yuan, ranking third on the list, with the highest recycling price reaching 9,130 yuan. Another ROG Phone 8 (16GB/512GB) also saw a monthly recycling price increase of 1,650 yuan, with the highest recycling price reaching 6,470 yuan. Compared with the recent continuous decline in prices of many Android phones, the ROG Phone series has bucked the trend and increased in value, which is particularly conspicuous.

The ROG Phone 8 series will be launched in 2024, and it is also a generation that has been rated very highly in recent years. ASUS made major changes to the exterior design at that time, significantly reducing the strong “e-sports feel” in the past and making the overall style closer to everyday flagship phones.
