Recently, market news about OPPO’s new flagship phone Find X10 series continues to increase. There have been rumors that this series will launch three models: Find X10, Find X10 Pro and Find X10 Pro Max. However, according to the latest information disclosed by the well-known whistleblower “Digital Chat Station”, OPPO’s product planning is suspected to have changed, and the development progress of Find X10 Pro Max may be delayed, or even face the risk of being completely cancelled.
With the prospect of the Pro Max version unclear, the market’s attention has turned to the Find X10 Ultra with higher specifications. According to sources, the engineering machine of Find X10 Ultra is currently testing a periscope telephoto lens equipped with 3x optical zoom. The manufacturer is evaluating two sensor solutions, namely a 200-megapixel 1/1.2-inch sensor and a 200-megapixel 1/1.28-inch sensor. From the analysis of hardware data, the 1/1.2-inch sensor has a larger area and has better light input, which can theoretically provide a more ideal background blur effect and overall image quality. The final solution will depend on the manufacturer’s lens adjustment technology and image processing algorithms. In addition, there was earlier news that OPPO is testing a 200-megapixel 1/1.12-inch main lens sensor that supports LOFIC technology for the Find X10 Ultra to improve the dynamic range performance of highlight and dark details.
Although there are variables in the launch plan of Find X10 Pro Max, earlier leaked data has revealed its expected configuration. The phone was originally expected to be equipped with a 200-megapixel 1/1.3-inch main lens, a 200-megapixel 1/1.28-inch periscope telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide-angle lens ranging from 50 million to 200 million pixels (1/1.56-inch). In terms of screens, the manufacturer is reported to be testing two panels, a 6.89-inch 2K LTPO direct screen and a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO panel.
In terms of core hardware performance, the Find X10 series is expected to fully adopt MediaTek’s new generation processors. The high-end model is expected to be equipped with the Dimensity 9600 Pro, which is built on the 2nm process, while the standard and Pro versions may use the Dimensity 9600 and Dimensity 9500 Plus platforms. Although the product lineup may have been reduced, the upgrades in imaging technology and core performance of the Find X10 series are still the focus of the market.
