HUAWEI officially launched its new flagship tablet MatePad Pro Max earlier this month. Recently, the official rarely took the initiative to disclose the processor model of the new machine.
At a HarmonyOS office new product technology communication meeting just held in China, HUAWEI officially announced that the MatePad Pro Max will be equipped with a processor called Kirin T93 Pro. Although the official did not further explain the specific core architecture and clock data of the SoC at the meeting, the ability to directly announce the chip name is a clear specification guide compared to previous conferences.
Regarding this Kirin T93 Pro, many technology bloggers on Mainland Weibo speculated that it is most likely a non-mobile network baseband version of the current flagship chip Kirin 9030 Pro. At present, Kirin 9030 Pro is mainly used in the brand’s top models, including HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro Max, Mate 80 RS Ultimate Design and the flagship folding screen mobile phone Mate X7. If the speculation is true, this means that the computing performance of MatePad Pro Max will fully reach the current top flagship level, providing sufficient computing reserves for high-intensity work and entertainment.
In fact, HUAWEI also emphasized at the technical communication meeting that the overall system performance of MatePad Pro Max has been improved by up to 45%. The manufacturer pointed out that this significant performance jump is not only due to the new SoC, but also to the efficient heat dissipation system built into the body, coupled with the underlying optimization of the latest HarmonyOS 6 operating system, and the synergistic effect of the entire HarmonyOS rich ecosystem, which together bring users a smoother and more stable daily operating experience.
