To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the 1000X series of noise-cancelling headphones, Sony today officially launched the top-of-the-line 1000X THE COLLEXION over-ear noise-cancelling wireless headphones. Not only does it add a more fashionable, flagship-level appearance design, but it also has upgraded sound quality and noise-cancelling effects, making it a top-of-the-line model that surpasses the WH-1000XM6.
THE COLLEXION uses top-grade metal materials, matte sandblasting textures and hand-polished glossy surfaces for the headband, which is not only more durable, but also visually highlights the exquisite texture and neat style. In addition, the newly developed artificial leather is perfectly and seamlessly connected with the buttons and microphone holes, making the headset more integrated. The thickened buffer layer also provides a more comfortable wearing experience.
In terms of sound quality, 1000X THE COLLEXION has an exclusively developed composite driver unit with soft edges and a highly rigid dome, which can perfectly balance deep bass and delicate treble. Supplemented by the high-resolution noise reduction processor QN3 to bring smoother sound details, it is Sony’s first wireless headset to support DSEE Ultimate technology, which can use the high-performance V3 chip algorithm to restore compressed music files; it can even enable three listening modes of music, games, and theater under 360 Reality Audio Upmix technology to optimize the sound for different needs.

Continuing the top noise reduction performance of WH-1000XM6, 1000X THE COLLEXION further provides up to 12 sets of microphones, which can process environmental noise faster with the V3 chip. In addition, the headphones fully inherit the automatic ambient sound mode, flexible sound effect control, and fast speaking mode of the WH-1000XM6, and can automatically adjust the noise reduction and ambient sound modes according to the environment.
Sony 1000X THE COLLEXION is available for trial listening at SonyStore stores across Taiwan from now on. Specific launch information will be announced at a later date.
