According to the latest news revealed by the well-known technology whistleblower “Digital Chat Station”, HONOR is expected to bring a new Pro Max to the flagship Magic 9 series this year. A number of core specifications of this unreleased new machine have been leaked. Among them, the new 2nm process flagship chip and upgraded imaging system have attracted the most attention in the industry.
In terms of hardware performance, news indicates that the HONOR Magic 9 Pro Max will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro processor developed by Qualcomm for the top flagship market. This chip is expected to be built using TSMC’s latest 2nm process technology, and the clock speed is expected to reach 5GHz. This not only marks that Qualcomm may launch a Pro version of this series of chips for the first time, but it is also expected that the new machine will be significantly optimized in power consumption control for multi-tasking and long-term operation.
In terms of shooting performance, it is rumored that HONOR Magic 9 Pro Max will be equipped with dual 200-megapixel rear camera modules, one of which is a wide-angle main lens using a 1/1.28-inch large sensor, and the other is a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. This combination of dual high-pixel photosensitive elements is expected to significantly improve the resolution of high-magnification zoom and imaging details in low-light environments.
