Huawei announced at its latest product launch that its smart watches and sports bracelets will officially support Alipay Hong Kong. This update means that when users pay at convenience stores or various retail stores in the future, they only need to open the payment QR code directly on their wrist to complete the transaction, completely getting rid of the cumbersome steps of having to take out their mobile phones from their pockets or handbags in the past.
This long-awaited electronic payment feature will be rolled out in phases. The first wave of supported lists includes the newly launched Watch GT Runner 2 and Band 11 series. These two new products can enjoy a convenient payment experience when they leave the factory. As for other existing Huawei wearable device models, officials also revealed that they are already in planning, and it is expected that relevant support will be added later through system software updates, so that more old customers can also experience the convenience of wrist payment.
