   This is completely unnecessary. You can set core affinity in task manager which does exactly the same as this and process lasso. I am assuming it is setting the same register values that would be set if you do it in task manager or process lasso.

   Thanks for bringing attention to this and before for resizable bar in profile inspector as well. This wouldn't be an issue if microsoft could fix their thread scheduler so it prioritizes the optimal cores instead of every possible core. They made the cpu sets feature to fix this which was core affinity that spilled over to the rest of cores when loaded up but broke it in 24h2 or so and now it's just core affinity that can bypass anticheat blocks. So if cores are loaded up and it needs more say hello to stutters and freezes. Also core parking doesn't fix it either especially since 25h2 since parked still have things scheduled to them instead of the already awake unused cores. This is not just an issue for hybrid cpus, hyperthreading/smt threads should be put last for the scheduler so apps that need more threads get them but single threaded apps don't lose performance from overhead or other issues. Unfortunately microsoft is focused on other things instead.

   You were GPU bound, ofc you wouldnt see the FPS change. Put game graphics and resolution scale on minimum + DLSS Max Performance, and you would see a crazy difference.

   I have the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i laptop with an AMD 9955X3D chip with 5080 and this utility helped my FPS immensely in BF6. Before the cache die I was getting like 120fps tops and all my cpu cores were steeling wattage and was causing more heat than was needed but after I can easily hit 200+ fps if I cpu limit the game and its using less wattage and less fan noise. I love how easy it is to use and how it auto applies when the game opens again.

   I have a Ryzen 9 5900 XT which is basically just a 5950x and this software will be helpful for Valheim of all things, Valheim gets crazy stutters when both CCDs are active, and I ended up just disabling one CCD in the BIOS, so now I basically just have a 5800XT since I'm only running on 8 cores instead of 16. but with this software I'm gonna be gucci again!

   You can go into your bios enable gaming mode or x3d mode and it will do the same thing but easier. Warning though, you need substantial cooling.

    My BF6 Keeps crashing on High end tech like a Ryzen 7900x CPU, and AMD RX7900XTX and on MEDIUM Graphics! Its driving me nuts, this the only game my PC behaving in a really scary way. I feel like Dice just needs to optimize this game a bit better or something, cause IT HAS TO BE THE GAME.

    So, this is absolutely nothing to do with core parking, its a way the cheat engine runs when you have multiple screens.

    Disconnect 1 screen and monitor the cores with the steamoverlay and it shows that it fully parks one of the cores.

    Doing all this is stupid and a hassle for no reason

    They updated cpusetsetter with the threads showing and you can see which ones actually go to sleep when you manually adjust its a near software especially for dual ccds for fortnite putting my cpu to all cores it runs way better with literally no stutters compared to just the caches ccd which is very interesting

    Thanks for the tool info. Learned last night that the WoW beta for the next expansion doesn't run properly on the cache CCD on it's own of my 9950X3D probably since the .exe is called WowB.exe not Wow.exe

    you might have to look into game bar settings and other scenarios of why the parking is not working on your end. I've a laptop running AMD 9955HX3D and 5070ti mobile, when I run BF6 REDSEC(the f2p version) with all the features from gamebar, balanced power mode in win settings, hardwale scheulding enabled, I can honestly confirm from win resouce monitor that CCD1(freq CCD) is entirely properly parking with zero manual intervention allowed. if I alt tab to for example browser or any other local apps, CCD1 starts firing up to handle those processes. Other than that, even keeping things on the laptop screen such as HWINFO / Afterburned does not cause CCD1 to flare up during gaming (or does briefly that I can't catch it from resource mon.) on a further note, Outer Worlds2 was not parking CCD1 properly and enabling "remember this is a game" from game bar settings for specifically that solved my entire issue and CCD1 parks on Outer Worlds2 too.

    Any help? 3070ti and r7 5800x3d. Cpu stutters a lot. I got fine fps. Problem is the fps drops heavy. It's totally random. And what should i set in the CPU Set Setter? got CPU 0 too CPU 15. What to turn off?

    Wouldn't it be nice if, instead of having to use third-party software and spend countless hours figuring out how to squeeze the best performance out of our CPU and GPU just to play a goddamn game, developers actually did their jobs and made the game apply all the necessary tweaks for our specific CPU/GPU combo on launch? Instead, we need to do all this nonsense and rely on AI bullshit to run average looking games at a decent frame rate.

    I've been gaming hard on Windows PCs since the 90s and this shit just keeps getting more annoying every year: DPC latency, interrupt affinity policies, core parking, priority separation, testing different drivers, Resize Bar and so on… it's just fucking nuts.

    I have caped stable 200fps by RTSS, expo&pbo on with my 7800x3d Rtx 4080 but my 1%lows are below 100 fps and game is not smooth… 😢
