   Thank you for this concise instructional video. I just finished updated the RAM, SSD, and battery on my Mid 2012 MBP. I used your vid to update to Sequoia and it is working flawlessly except for the iPhone mirroring. I am a happy camper! You saved me money for sure. I was considering getting an iPad Pro as a companion to my M1 Mac mini. No need with the MBP that I had sitting around.

   Hi mate, is there any way to install a Mac OS on an unsupported Mac that has a completely empty Hard drive? I accidentally formatted the drive including the recovery partition, now when I load up it won’t load into any type of recovery mode no matter what button combination I use, it just shows the folder with question mark. I did manage to create a bootable usb with my original Yosemite osx on there but when it installs it gives a 403 forbidden error when trying to connect to App Store during install any ideas on what I could try ??

   I used OCLP 2.0.2 on my Macbook Pro mid-2014. Unfortunately after installation I can't find the OCLP anywhere in the system, and doesn't see or allow me to connect to WIFI. The interface too is not normal (White desktop with tiny fonts). Tried reinstalling the OCLP but the OS doesn't allow it. Only option is to reboot in safe mode and try reinstalling the OS, and will always give the same result.

   I’m having a couple problems installing Sequoia on external ssd drive to use as main drive for 2012 15” MacBook Pro: when in installer, reboots don’t choose EFI automatically; and, when I finally get the new OS installed and try to migrate from the internal drive running Catalina, after MigrationAssistant finishes and requires a restart, when it restarts, the same screen from Migration Assistant appears telling me to restart in an infinite loop 🥴 Any ideas on how to correct these issues? Btw, using newly reformatted thumb drive for OCLP installer and a newly reformatted SSD in APFS.

   Sequoia is now running smoothly on a MacBook Pro from 2014. The greatest difference from all previous macOS versions is how laggy the terminal is, it takes ages to load or to run any command.

   Mac mini 3,1 from 2009 working ! with Sequoia 15.0 and OCLP 2.0.2 . Then I updated OS to 15.0.1. wifi, bluetooth, usb all are working. Only for simple tasks like browsing, email, word processing etc.

   I am having difficulty installing Mac OS Sequoia on my Late 2015 MacBook. I have had success in the past with OpenCore Legacy Patcher and was able to download it on my Mac mini, but I am going into a loop that I cannot break. I have downloaded via OCLP to a USB SeQuoia along with OCLP. But when I go to install on my hard drive and I have followed your instructions by erasing my hard drive for a clean install using Disk Utility, I then try to install the software via the Recovery mode and it will start the install, extract the software and then it goes right back to the Recovery page and I try again. Same thing, it extracts the software, gets ready to install and goes right back to the Recovery page. I have tried to go back to the Disk Utility, repair, and re- erase the HD and I get the same results when I try to then install Sequoia. I keep looping back to that Recovery page that lists Restore from Time Machine, Install Mos Sequoia, Safari and Disk utility. I even tried to Restore from my Time Machine (as I backed up before I tried to install Sequoia) and it tells me I need to reinstall the Mac OS. Help! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

   Posting success on 2010 Mac Pro 5,1 6 core X2 Processor to Sequoia 15.0.1 I did the way where you keep apps and files. This went very fast compared to my 2011 8,3 MacBook Pro. It's getting late so I have not been able to check everything. I did get some sort of Keyboard warning but It did not seem to matter :)) Thank you guys for what you are doing. Totally Awesome putting new life into these old Macs!!

    I have a 2014 MacBook Air running OCLP 2.0.2 and Ventura, trying to update to Sequoia. Created USB installer in OCLP, installed OCLP on USB, restarted, chose Sequoia installer USB, got to screen where you choose disk. When I choose my disk, I get this error: OCLP apple.buildinfo.preflight.error error 10. Please help, how do I get past this?

    Hi everyone!
    For those who have the problem on step 12 and cannot click continue the solution is very simple.
    When you are on the screen of installing, disco utility, etc…. YOU MUST CHANGE YOUR LANGUAGE TO ENGLISH.
    That’s all.

    hi mr .macintosh … i already able to install the OS in my unsupported mac ( 2 devices ) .. but my question is how to do this in such a way to not always download the OCLP and desired OS for every device , bec its painstakingly long and time consuming …. could this be possible .. ?????kindly make a video of it please … thanks

    Is there as possibilty you call me or I can call you ?Need some assistance for fresh install. I am not expert with mac os. Used to be a Windows guy many years ago. Need assistance with so called Hackintosh. Used to have El Capitan (10.11.6 Macos)with Clover boo loader. with Intel iCore 5 and 16 gigs of Memory. Something happened it does not boot any more. Some people have advised to make a bootable USB with either Open core or Clover boot loader. I have another MacBook Pro I just boutht . That works fine. If the need ariswes I can use the New macbook pro and download the necessary files on to the 32 gig USB stick.

    I’m trying to install on a 13” MBP and the installation runs halfway before rebooting and sending me to the start step (where you select what you want to install, or open disk utility, etc). Tried many times but it does not work. I did a clean install. Any ideas?

    I installed in a Mac mini late 2014 and performance is awful, fan was almost always on, so I returned to ventura which seems to be the best update that this kind of Macs can handle.

    Hello, help me please! I’m having issues with the installation of Sequoia using OpenCore Legacy Patcher on my unsupported Mac Pro (MacPro6,1). I prepared the USB drive with OpenCore Legacy Patcher and successfully installed Sequoia on my Mac Pro. The installation appeared to go smoothly, so I proceeded to install it on the internal drive and ran the root patcher. After restarting, everything seemed fine, but after the third restart the next day, regardless of whether I'm actively using the system or not, the mouse pointer turns into a spinning beach ball and eventually the Mac freezes. This occurs on subsequent restarts as well. Installing Sonoma I have the same problem.

    I see that you suggest to disable also standard updates, not only automatic os upgrades. Is that right? Would it be possible to keep at least security updates for sequoia, for security purposes?

    I need some urgent help please. I did everything just like you said, but unfortunately when I’m trying to install sequoia to my MacBook Pro 15” late 2011, I get a message like this: A mistake was made when preparing the installation. Try running the application again. ( at 6:55 in you video)
    I’ve tried to restart the computer already and run it again, but it appears all the time. Unfortunately I already erased my previous op system.
