Monday, September 14 is the public day for iOS 27. Apple’s iOS page still says available starting 9.14. No hour. On the developer releases page, the newest iOS 27 row is still the RC from September 9: build 24A435.
Yesterday’s Firmware note already had that RC number. Today’s point is narrower. The public switch does not, by itself, add a new build string on Apple’s lists.

iOS and iPadOS sharing 24A435 is normal. Apple has not written that 24A435 is the string under Software Update for everyone. After you install, Settings, General, About. The build sits in parentheses on the Software Version line.
Security page has no iOS 27 row
Apple’s security releases index still tops out at iOS 26.6.2 and iPadOS 26.6.2, build 23G90, from September 8. There is no iOS 27 entry. iPadOS 26.7 (23H24) also went out September 9, next to the RC set.
iOS 27 is free for iPhone 11 and later, plus iPhone SE (2nd generation and later).
