  1. Update: in the morning I fixed the code of the latest build of vPhone (small bug), but learned that the App Store doesn't work. While you can sideload decrypted iPA files (very easy), if you do not have those iPA files already, the process becomes a lot more painful. I spent the entire day today no breaks trying to either get the app store working, or find a simple way to decrypt encrypted iPA files, and sadly I failed. Regardless, I will have the video tutorial out by end of day March 26th

  13. I had to watch the entire video from start to finish just to really digest my thoughts and process this potential miracle. I’m glad I did, because while I do think this new jailbreak has real potential to become a fully released, legitimate option, the “new” setup you explained feels like it could be inconvenient for a lot of people.

    I get that beggars can’t be choosers, so I’m willing to wait patiently for more updates and news about this jailbreak. I’m really hoping that, later down the line, it becomes possible to run it without the whole “simulation” requirement — because honestly, that’s my biggest complaint.

    I’ve only ever owned Windows PCs, and I’m not sure I want to buy a Mac just to simulate a phone on my iPhone’s screen. And that setup raises a lot of questions. What happens if my cat accidentally turns off my Mac or clicks something that stops the simulation? What happens to my iPhone in that moment? I also remember you mentioning that, for now, it only works when both devices are on the same Wi‑Fi network.

    I don’t know why, but if this is supposed to be the second era of jailbreaking, it feels like it shouldn’t be harder or more inconvenient than the first.

  16. Honestly, I don't see this going anywhere because of the fact that you would need a constant stable internet connection and a constantly on M series Mac. This probably won't be able to work on cellular, and the fact that getting things like multi-touch and the keyboard working while yes totally possible, it would take serious work and dedication which the jailbreak community does not have anymore. Most developers are long gone, plus you would need tweaks that can actually work on iOS 26.

    This is a cool concept, but turning this into something that's actually usable as a true virtual iPhone you can always sit in on your main device and have a jailbroken experience with all your apps and everything I can't see. Does everything even work with it? Can I login to iCloud, the App Store, etc?

I have not jailbroken since the iOS 10 days & oh my god, not once did I ever expect an iOS 26 jailbreak to be possible but at all, for the jailbreaking community to be alive & well in some form. Absolutely fantastic, I've been reminiscing the old days of jailbreaking recently, this cannot be coincidental…

I never loose hope. It's a big surprise this comeback. Keep up the good work! Of course we want a tutorial… We're still waiting! we'll never give up! Jailbreak will find a way.. it allways does, even more and more limited..
