I’m using Widgy to create a custom monochrome widget and a simple black-and-white home screen layout inspired by e-ink displays.
For an even more realistic e-ink look, try using matte screen protectors — one on the front and one on the back — to add a paper-like texture and reduce reflections.

5:50 I did exactly the same thing, but the widget turned out to be a bit greyish. Like the weather app that was initially on your homescreen. Not as dark as the wallpaper I selected. What could be the reason?

This has literally been my phone for the last 5 yrs lol but Liquid Glass has ruined the look, now I have these white/glass borders around screens, folders and app icons which look awful.

Why do you need text and widgets? Just use search to launch your apps. You can remove everything so your apps live only in app section. Swipe right you get widgets if you need them, swipe left you get App Library if you need it. Swipe down to search and launch

I tried my hardest to follow along to this but I guess I need the Minimal iOS 26 Setup for Dummies. What may be a breeze for you isn’t for some of us and you chug along at a fairly quick pace and your instructions are designed for someone (you in particular) who’s familiar with what these apps do (Widgy) and as much as I really like this setup and attempted to follow along, the instructions are way to quick and slightly vague for someone not as familiar with doing as yourself.
