I just got the iPad Pro m5 and in the files folder I do not have the option to create a new folder. I don't have that icon, any ideas?

Are they any new insides of that 80% Charging limit? My last knowledge is that it was bullshit and doesn’t effect more then 1-2% Batterydegration.
I have an M2 and outside it’s not very bright, use it for Final Cut, Logic and for lyrics at shows. Also have an 16” M2 Max mbp. Should I upgraded to the m5, or wait for m6?

I really like IOS26, BUT. There is a simple UI element that there is NO REASON not to have, even the Mac has it and this is a touch device! Why isn’t there Snap to Grid / Magnet, we should be able to drag a app to each side to snap to grid and have split screen, drag apps to each corner of the screen for a 4 app split and drag to the top centre of the screen for full screen.
Why doesn’t iPadOS have this?, it’s so simple, do the developers know what they’re doing ahha even iPadOS18 had a version of snap to grid. iPadOS26 has grids already build in, just you have to use a tedious process of going to the stop light, click hold the green then select where you want the app to snap in the grid. Come on apple, the point of having a iPad is to be able to drag apps, but not only that. MacOS, Microsoft all have snap to grid, it’s a simple shortcut for simplicity, Add it!
The thing I'm most curious about is if i should really buy it? There is an ipad Air 13'. If you don't run high performance applications (you know those you can use a computer for). I don't see the point for this mega expensive ipad. I guess it's awesome indeed. I have a 2022 pro and it's amazing. But way overkill to be honest.
If you have the nano texture display is the paper like addon still good to get ?

Hey, amazing review! I just picked up the brand-new 11-inch M5 iPad Pro (256GB model) and have a couple of questions, especially regarding the first day experience.
1. Battery Concern: I was shocked to see my battery drop from 90% to 40% in only 2 hours after unboxing! My battery health is 100% and the cycle count is only 1. Is this super-fast drainage normal due to the M5 running initial setup and heavy background indexing/downloads? Or does this seem like a potential issue?
2. Benchmark Scores: My Geekbench scores were Single-Core: 4070 and Multi-Core: 15264. Are these scores normal for the M5 chip, or are they different from what you and others have tested?

It's great that you pundits liked a mess around with everything. When it comes to the graphic user interface. All I want is the very first style graphic user Interface.
I know the graphic design engineers need to have a job, but I wish they quit screwing around with a normal out of the box turn it on settings. I HATE LIQUID GLASS and all the other garbage.
