Bugs:
1) wireless CarPlay doesn’t connect. Sometimes it will eventually connect but it shouldn’t take 10+ minutes
2) wired CarPlay doesn’t work at all. I have verified that I have the USBC running from center console to the Horizon. This is shown in the video when I insert a USB stick & launch the USB app. I only have photos on the USB key so it cant play audio but it tries… as soon as I unplug the stick the USB app quits – proving the USB port in the console is connected to the Horizon
3) where is the wake countdown? I show the Installer section and its not there
4) where do I program steering wheel controls? I show the Installer section and it’s not there either.
Have they fixed this yet?
Sorry to keep coming back and asking more but I appreciate the responses. I was speaking to a shop about getting this installed. I keep hearing that the widget screen is always on. There are two images on the marketing page for this unit that show Apple Car Play full screen. Is that possible? I appreciate the video. Looking at getting this for my Silverado. These are headaches for sure. I have this issue intermittently with my factory setup and I have it on my wife's 2024 factory setup. I found that phone reset sometimes fixes. That makes me think it has as much to do with the phone as vehicle.

An iPad Pro doesn’t even cost $2,000… yikes. That’s a steep price for something that’s supposed to work with your phone but can’t even stay connected to CarPlay. That’s literally the main reason people buy it

I've been looking at the 12, for the amount of $$money$$ this cost those bugs should have been worked out. Now I'm having second thoughts. Any updates on resolving those issues or is it still the same? p/s thanks for the vid.
I have the exact same problem with my Horizon10. If a singular phone is listed in the head unit, that one phone connects no problem. If a 2nd phone is added, neither phone can connect. This is with the latest firmware on the site. As a bonus, my unit also isn't registering the headlights turning on to dim the screen. This unit is too expensive to have these kind of issues.
Does the compass on the cluster pannel work? I have the heigh10 since 2020 and the compass does not work…
I have an Android and my wife has an Iphone. I I delete her phone out of the list my phone connects no problem. If hers is in my list mine will not connect at all.
