18.5cms wrist here. I always liked smaller dials as it makes my wrist look bigger and stronger. I always had small dial g shocks and it fits good and wrists look strong too. So i would go with 42mm
I prefer as little weight on my wrist as possible, so I opted for the 42mm version. I really wish there was a 44mm Series 11 option, but unfortunately that size is reserved for the SE3.
My wrist is 16.5cm, prefer the 46. And there is longer battery life.

Can the bigger 46mm bands definitely not be used on the 42mm watch? I’m male with 170mm wrists so will be getting the 42mm, but I’d like the straps to be wider like those on the 46mm to make me more manly. 😂

my wrist size is 17.5. i found 46mm bit big but 42 looks smaller but I liked it better. I feel 44mm that I have currently is the perfect size.
So I’m deciding on buying 42mm one but I was thinking what if it doesn’t look as premium as bigger one since it will occupy less area so less visible and not eye catchy.
