I think their whole strategy is it’s coming out in October for Christmas to make it a massive release.

They are going to release the ipad 12 with the non-Pro iPhones in March/April 2027. If everyone has been deemed patient enough to wait on the non-pro iphones till March 2027, then they can likewise wait till then for the ipad 12.
I’m not surprised plus with the increase of their prices. The budget iPad does not make financial sense to most people to buy and the iPad 11 Jen is a good. iPad because you could still download Google AI which works way better than apples right now
Maybe when the Air gets OLED they want to upgrade the base model to P3 display, but they don’t wanna do that before the new Air is released because it would eat into Air sales.

I am no expert, but I find it odd that Apple will not bring the ipad 12 out before the holiday season. So far it seems we'll only get a new iphone, and the rumored ipad mini 8. And maybe some other service that will require us to buy a subscription.
If no release now, then WHEN??? After iPad mini release this fall would be ideal. Spring 2027 will probably see the releases of the iPad Pro, Air M5 and Neo 2. Releasing iPad 12 then would cut into profits of aforementioned devices. Customers will know iPad 12 is coming and so hold off purchasing Spring releases. Delaying this release will only hurt Apple, not it's customers…So they keep delaying???

I’ve already purchased the iPad 11th Generation until the new iPad 12th won’t come till next year.
Apple intelligent or not the A16 is just kinda outdated, not saying that is not good but on ipados is definitely going to struggle hard with 6gb only, yeah good luck running stage manager with 4-5 tabs tbh.
Postponing the iPad means more chance for it to get a recent CPU. Maybe a A19 or A20.
