Could Integrated Biometrics bring KOJAK and other IB fingerprint scanners to iPhone and Mac?
In this video, I present a conceptual feature proposal for Integrated Biometrics (IB): extending the capabilities of the IBScanUltimate SDK to Apple’s iOS and macOS ecosystem.
The idea comes from a real-world enterprise integration scenario involving fingerprint biometrics, Integrated Biometrics hardware, and an Apple-based environment.
KOJAK PL is used as the primary example because it provides a concrete way to visualize the concept. However, the proposal is broader than KOJAK — the same idea could potentially apply to other Integrated Biometrics scanners supported by the IB software ecosystem.
The concept
The proposed integration would conceptually connect:
Integrated Biometrics scanner → IBScanUltimate SDK → iOS / macOS → Developer Application → Authentication
Such an integration could give developers another platform on which to build enterprise biometric applications and authentication workflows using Integrated Biometrics hardware.
