iOS 27 Beta 5 brings several noticeable changes and fixes to Apple CarPlay. In this video, I go through the new Siri design, updated CarPlay wallpapers, Apple Music interface changes, Apple Maps improvements, bug fixes, and features that are still missing.

Does anyone feel that all apple really does is add new wall papers and tweak the look of Icons a bit. I know there is some other stuff, but new features is what should be the focus. These tweak on how something looks and small tweaks at that makes me feel what the hell is apple really doing? IMO, not much.

I got YouTube and web videos working on CarPlay.
I consistently keep hearing a note like this “there is a problem with the app”.
This is only when connected to my apple car play. Any idea how to report this and get it resolved. It is very annoying to be honest😤

Hey, I do enjoy your videos, especially on CarPlay. No one else is doing that. But besides looking at it in your vehicle, are you actually taking it out for a spin around town? Because this beta has given me nothing but problems. Just like in the first beta, you never mentioned those problems.
27 beta 5, I open my text messaging. the first at the top screen message I tap on it and nothing happens. Screen is freezing. When Siri asks me if I want to reply, I say yes then nothing happens. It's a mess. Again

not sure why apple can't just let us use our phone background like android does
I'm sure you know there is a hack for PCM 5 that takes 2 min to install that makes car play full screen. There are 2 options.. Complete full screen or full screen with the menu down the left remaining.. Thousands have done it so it's solid.. I did it on my 2025 Macan GTS. It's finally how it is on my new 911.. Full screen 😊

Third party video won’t come until apps are updated by developers for iOS 27 so September is the earliest
I preferred the previous wallpapers :/ I wish they weren't so stingy with the amount on there. They should let us pick any image from our camera roll at this point!

They really need to add so you can filter your playlists to show recently added songs on top in Apple Music. Hate that oldest songs are at the top.
They should just let you import your own wallpapers
