Ultra macbook is an overkill for most of the people and I don’t know if it would be comfortable to carry such a machine
This year I will get a new Macbook Pro+ — preferably a Macbook Ultra M6 18" — and an iPhone 18 Pro Max
My macbook pro just fell down today and the display crashed really bad. It stayed with me for 10 years through ups and downs. Winning this mac Pro right away would make my may.

Mac book ultra 18 “ would be what I’d get
the ram crisis sorting itself out is highly unlike anytime soon, as the demand is so constant its created a bottleneck that can't be resolved until there are enough new chip factories to restore the balance of demand; maybe in 5 years but I doubt it will happen soon. it more likely the prices will continue to go up for th next few years create a new norm and baseline so when prices do go down that go down to a price that might seem cheaper in comparison but when compared to where we were 5 years ago it will still be ultra expensive.

there’s plenty of laptops out there that cost way less that have touch screens with decent specs (not Apple specs, yes, it’s different), but I just wish that Apple would have that technology for consumers at a more accessible price point and in the regular MacBook Pros and Airs available to the public, instead im looking forward to that new foldable iPhone, sure its gonna cost a little more (like this MacBook Ultra) but thats something I really want to get my hands on at the end of this summer

You know the Macbook I want is not the Neo or Air or Pro or Ultra. I want a MACBOOK. Give me more performance than Air, a pro-motion tandem OLED, great speakers, magsafe, HDMI port, 1 USB A & 3 USB C's with charging support on both sides. Make it a 14" model. I want the OS & great hardware to do daily regular people work. I don't need the performance of the Pro & Ultra but the Air & Neo is too budget for me.
From what I read, the ultra is for the form factor and it for the chip… this is for the M6 pro and max, not a M6 Ultra
