   For years I've been reading the news about an iMac with a 27-inch or larger screen.But I'm so bored of waiting.24 inch is a very small screen.And the white frame on the screen looks really bad and old.I own three 2020 27-inch iMacs. I use it for my work. I'll wait until a new 27-inch or larger iMac comes out.

   I currently have an iMac Pro and wouldn’t be particularly interested if they released a new model with a smaller screen.
   A 32-inch display is the minimum if you work professionally, and white bezels—like on the current 24-inch models—are also not of interest. Black bezels, please. 👌

    I want an iMac Pro. I can’t afford one, hopefully they have a base M5 Pro model that’s lower cost than a Max chip. I plan to upgrade from my M2 Max 2023 Studio.

    Please think twice before buying the 24-inch iMac. I’m a real user and I regret this purchase. The display is the weakest and most expensive-to-fail part of this machine. Thousands of people worldwide have reported sudden screen issues – vertical lines, pink tint, dead backlight, ghosting, and complete display failure just after warranty. Apple charges an insane amount for screen replacement, sometimes almost the cost of a new Mac.
    The worst part is you cannot replace or reuse this beautiful 4.5K display. When the screen fails, the entire computer becomes useless. This is terrible design.
    If you want macOS, buy Mac mini or Mac Studio + a good quality external monitor. That way, even if the display fails, you just replace the monitor and keep the Mac. With iMac, one failure = total loss.
    The iMac 24 looks beautiful on day one, but it is not a long-term reliable machine. Don’t fall for the design. Buy a Mac, not a sealed-in display computer

    A 32" monitor is ridiculous with the MacOS. With most Linux WM or DE or even Windows it makes more since. Moving fro m the lower right side to the top control bar is a reach. 27" monitors is, to me, the limit.
