No nano texture for me, it takes away the sharpness of the retina screen. Why retina resolution and then blur it with that nano texture?

Is there a way to control/sync two Studio Display 2026 monitors at the same time? I'm in the market for two, but my wish is that when I turn up or down the brightness, both monitors will do that (and not separate like @iJustine did in this video)?

It doesn't make any sense to compare glossy and matt on a complete dark screen! If the displays are on and showing bright content, you'll never see any reflections. This is a really stupid comparison! On the other hand, nano texture will reduce the sharpness of the screen. I've three Studio Displays in glossy and i would never buy a nano texture version, never!

I wonder if Apple is ever going to release a budget display similar to how they release a budget MacBook like $200 – $300 worth of display sounds crazy. I know but hear me out.
Apple has started making “budget” smart phones now they’ve made a budget MacBook and the M4 Mac mini is actually surprisingly affordable for what it is it would make sense for them to make an entry-level display maybe one similar to the MacBook Ne-Yo slightly smaller not a huge resolution locked to 60 FPS about 500 knits of brightness and in fun colours it would make sense get people hooked on the Apple display seeing how good it is compared to their old display and then eventually they might even consider upgrading too and more expensive one. I know that I would.
I would prefer OLED over Mini LED or LCD. You should review a simple $800.00 OLED monitor (34") and see if you like the it better than what Apple has to offer. I imagine the Apple monitors might suffer from motion artifacts due to response times in milliseconds as well as the bloom effect. OLED monitors do not suffer from motion artifact nor do they suffer from the bloom effect. I don't want to rain on your parade but think my comments are valid.

Many years ago when creators as you call them these days need high quality screens as they where print based and needed to match proof outputs to actual print output through your printer,, then hard proofed by your local print shop Potographers as well needed accurate proofing. Todays world looking at phones, tablets with streamed media non controllable to the creator you are showing work out rot so many variables its comical. Let's see creators actually run a commercial print studio etc. So my thoughts lie buying the most powerful laptop etc then go buy a supercar to drive to Burger King, pointless.

If the XDR was 32" I would consider it. Once again, Apple falls short. Very disappointing.

Sorry, but nano texture looks terrible. I guess if you NEED it because of being in a super bright room or something, but this feature should be a $200 DISCOUNT, not an up charge… not having 120Hz on a $1600 monitor is criminal. Not to mention they are still using the same 11 year old panel in a $1600 monitor….. seriously apple…
