does the bios file have to be named PSX- at the beginning of the file name like yours?

I have done everything you have said, however when I'm playing Spyro the Dragon (1), and it comes up with say the Insomniac logo, you see triple. I dont know how to sort this out D:

didnt mention to keep the info file, or anything about whats in it. so we just delete everything but ps1 and not the contents on the info file and needlessly copy them to the sd card lmao
How do I have icons that lead to these games on my homescreen?
Weird, when I first booted up a game like you said (Spyro 1), the title screen came up and it worked like a dream. After I applied all the settings and hit restart, then it started showing all kinds of glitches.

for me all the games i tried so far are super glitched out and unplayable 🙁
there seems to be a save bug for mgs1 where retroarch wont let you save, this kills the game since you wont have a file to switch to when changing disks

If only someone would decouple it from Retroarch, that'd make it likely 100% full speed, as Retroarch adds a TON of baggage.
ps1 emulator doesn't give me options, it just gives me core options. I cant find Advanced GPU UNAI/PCSX4ALL SETTINGS. please help
