Apple has revealed how to care for the Tech Woven Case and Crossbody Strap, which were announced and released at the same time as the iPhone 17 series. At the time of writing this article, only the English version is published, but the Japanese version is expected to be published soon.

Apple explains the characteristics of the material as follows:
This case is made from a unique technical woven fabric made from 100% recycled polyester. By woven multi-colored threads on a jacquard loom, they create a rich, deep color and three-dimensional texture. The sides of the case are coated with textured TPU material, making it easier to hold. The refined aluminum buttons with oxide coating give you a precise and light response.
How to care for your tech woven case
Apple has shown that as a way to care for Tech Woven Cases, you can remove dirt and reduce the noticeable scars by using the same method as fine woven cases.
To remove dirt from the fine or tech woven case for your iPhone or to reduce the noticeable scars, first remove the iPhone from the case.
1. In a clean container, mix 1 teaspoon (5 mL) of liquid laundry detergent with 1 and 1/4 cup (250 mL) of water.
2. Lightly soak a lint-free cloth in the detergent dissolved in the water above, gently wring it out, then gently wipe the case with the cloth with water for about a minute.
3. Lightly moisten another cloth with running water and wipe the case.
4. Wipe and dry the case with a soft, dry cloth that is lint-free. Wipe away any excess moisture.
As the fibers are compressed during normal use, the appearance of the material changes over time and can cause wear. Depending on the wound, the marks may disappear over time.
The first genuine iPhone strap, crossbody strap
The crossbody strap is an original Apple strap that was announced at the same time as the iPhone 17 series. A magnet is built into the strap, and it has a mechanism that allows it to fit smartly even when the length is adjusted.

How to care for your crossbody strap
Apple provides instructions on how to care for your crossbody straps in the same way as a tech woven case.
To remove dirt from the crossbody strap, first unbutton it and remove the crossbody strap from the iPhone case.
1. In a clean container, mix 1 teaspoon (5 mL) of liquid laundry detergent with 1 and 1/4 cup (250 mL) of water.
2. Lightly soak a lint-free cloth in the detergent dissolved in the water above, gently wring it out, then gently wipe the strap with the cloth with water for about a minute.
