I can not find that 12v adaptor on the Starlink page. I hit shop, and it's not there. Have they discontinued the item? I see a similar one on Amazon from China, not made by Starlink.

Here's my setup: camping trailer with 12-volt battery system. I recharge the battery using a 200 watt solar panel array. I want to use my existing battery system to power the Mini because I can easily keep my battery charged with the solar panels and I don't want to go out and spend another $250-$500 on a power station. So, to use this adapter I would need to wire in a 12-volt cigarette lighter socket to my trailer's fuse panel and then just simply plug in the Mini adapter, right? That should be all I have to do, correct?
This could be a cost saver. So, if I’m plugged in to my SUV’s 12V cig lighter and my Starlink is running as advertised, what’s the radius that I have to be in to get the signal on my iPhone? IAW, if the SL Mini antenna is on the roof of my RV or van, will I pick up the signal inside my RV/SUV/car?
Thank you for all your videos. I think I’ve watched them all for the starlink mini. I love the idea of using the jackery mini and the power pass through to keep the charger topped up. I tried doing this with the Anker prime 27,650 and the 20,000 but as soon as I try to power either Anker prime banks the red light comes on the starlink cable (I have the official usbc one from Starlink) and the starlink mini stops working. Sorry if this is a ‘dumb’ question but do you know why it won’t work on the Anker Prime? I’ve tried using AC and 12v. My understanding is both these Anker prime power banks have power pass through charging too like the Jackery mini. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
They have the cable only back in the shop, but for the few extra bucks its worth having an extra 100w 12v adapter..

I just got my starlink 12V adapter/cable. It looks like this is a bit special. I pluged it into a 12V socket on my Anker 3800 and measured 20.0 Volts at the end of the barrel connector. So Starlink doesn't tell you that but it's not just a 12V in 12V out like all the others accessory. It steps up the voltage internally to get you to 20V 5A 100Watts needed (according to Starlink). The plug is beefy and I thought it might step up because there is plenty of room there. Much better to get the Starlink approved 12V USB-C socket vs the StarGear which is just 12Volts output, I know cause I measured it. Stick with Starlink cables and hardware. You get the proper guage wire and shielding.
I cant find the adapter in the shop, only US market ? ( from Germany )
I have a third party cable from Amazon. It works well when the car is running, but it won’t power the Starlink when the car is off. The cable is getting power bc there is an LED indicating power. I’m assuming the total watts decrease below what is needed, but curious if anyone has had this problem and if the Starlink adapter resolves it?
would love to see how you would set up the mini with a 3rd party router ( I you did it with the Gen 3) TIA
