HUAWEI officially released the new health flagship smart watch HUAWEI WATCH D3 and true wireless earphones FreeBuds Neo, which are expected to be launched on September 23. This generation of WATCH D3 has received a comprehensive upgrade, not only with a 1.92-inch extra-large screen, but also with a medical-grade 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring function. FreeBuds Neo, which was released at the same time, supports 30dB dual-channel active noise reduction and lossless sound quality transmission.
In terms of appearance design, HUAWEI WATCH D3 continues the style of the previous generation, but has received upgrades in craftsmanship. The thickness of the aluminum alloy body has been successfully reduced to 11.3mm, and the weight has been maintained at 40g, making it lighter and more comfortable to wear. In terms of screen, the watch is equipped with a 1.92-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x 408 and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, which is significantly doubled compared to the previous generation and is still clearly visible under strong outdoor light. In addition, the strap airbag specially designed for measuring blood pressure has also been narrowed by 1mm, making the design more refined without compromising the accuracy of inflation measurement.
Built-in specifications and health tracking functions are the biggest selling points of WATCH D3. The watch supports 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM), and especially reduces the operating noise during nighttime measurement; it also adds blood pressure and heart rate trend analysis before and after exercise. The built-in Health Glance function can generate a comprehensive health report including 11 key indicators such as heart rate, blood pressure and blood oxygen in just 60 seconds. In addition, the watch has been upgraded to support Bluetooth 6.0, and the 540mAh battery can provide up to 6 days of battery life.
As for the FreeBuds Neo headphones, it has a built-in third-generation audio chip that provides 2.3 Mbps high-resolution lossless transmission and spatial audio. Its adaptive noise reduction algorithm can adjust the ANC effect according to the environment in milliseconds, and supports seamless connection between dual devices across platforms.
In terms of sales information, HUAWEI WATCH D3 is available in Mocha Gold and black, priced at 399.99 pounds (equivalent to approximately HK$4,235), while FreeBuds Neo is available in four colors: interstellar silver, nebula pink, ice white and starry black, priced at 119.99 pounds (equivalent to approximately HK$1,270). Two new wearable products will be officially launched on September 23.
