The focus of this release falls on the flagship Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G, which is equipped with the largest-capacity 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery in the history of Xiaomi mobile phones. The system supports 100W HyperCharge wired fast charging and 27W reverse charging technology, and can handle up to three days of daily use on a single charge. The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G also has a built-in 8,340mAh battery and 67W fast charging, while the other two standard models are equipped with a 7,700mAh battery and 45W fast charging. With the support of the battery management system, officials say that the battery can still retain 80% or more of its original capacity after completing 1,600 charging cycles.
Body durability is another focus of the new series. Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G and Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G have become the first smartphones to receive TÜV SÜD’s five-star Titan Quality certification. The two Pro-level models use high-strength motherboards and shock-absorbing buffer designs, combined with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and have passed the SGS-certified 3-meter drop test on granite surfaces. In addition, both machines are IP66 and IP68 dustproof and waterproof, and for the first time add an underwater camera mode and support Wet Touch 2.0 technology, which can intelligently identify water, oil and sweat to maintain touch sensitivity.

In terms of pricing, the Redmi Note 17 with 6+128GB and 6+256GB is priced at HK$1,799 and 1,999 respectively. The price of Redmi Note 17 5G, which supports 5G network, starts from HK$1,999. The mid-range Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G is priced from HKD 2,499, while the highest-spec Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G is priced from HKD 3,299, with the highest 8+512GB version priced at HKD 3,799.
