The new flagship of the Google Pixel 11 series has officially launched. The new phone is now open for pre-order and is expected to be launched in Taiwan on August 21. If you want to experience it first, Google has set up pop-up experience spaces in Taipei and Taichung so that consumers can get their hands on the new phone in advance.

Camera row full of glass
Free 3C Technology Channel also took the lead in actually getting started quickly. Although the overall appearance of the Pixel 11 series has not changed significantly, it can be recognized from the redesigned camera column. This time it adopts a full-glass design, which is more visually concise. Among them, the thickness of the camera column of the standard version of Pixel 11 is reduced by 40%, and the protective case makes it look more compact.

Pro exclusive HiLight lighting effect
Another interesting design is the HiLight lighting effect interaction exclusive to the Pro series. When a frequently used contact person calls, the back of the phone will light up with exclusive lighting effects; when talking to Gemini, you can also see through different lighting effects whether the AI is currently listening or thinking. Google said that it may expand HiLight’s application scenarios in the future, including supporting third-party apps.

Camera hardware and software have been upgraded
The camera is also the focus of this upgrade of the Pixel 11 series. In terms of hardware, the wide-angle main lenses of all models and the Pro series telephoto lenses have been replaced with new photosensitive elements, focusing on higher photosensitivity to further enhance night shooting performance. Telephoto shooting has also been upgraded, with the professional zoom of the Pro series up to 120x.
Not only have the hardware been upgraded, the four new phones have also added new features such as one-click capture, camera style and creative mode, making the photo-taking gameplay even richer. Take “One-Click Capture” as an example. You can shoot a video of up to 2 minutes. The phone will automatically use AI to find the most exciting moments and capture them into photos. As for the final few photos, it will be judged by AI.

Gemini Intelligence is smarter
Gemini Intelligence also brings a further AI experience to the Pixel 11 series and enhances cross-App collaboration capabilities. For example, you can find concert ticket purchase information from photos and add it directly to Google Calendar. It also supports a practical voice modification function. You can directly ask Gemini to write a letter in Gmail, and AI will automatically delete the particles such as “um” and “that”, and then convert it into a more complete and smooth text. The response speed measured on site is quite fast, which may be attributed to the new Tensor G6 chip; Google emphasized that with the support of the new chip, the AI computing performance has increased by 50%.
